New site allows fans to support her
Chicago, IL, October 13, 2022 – New Albany, OH resident and University of Illinois golfer Anna Ritter has jumped into the NIL space by officially signing a ‘name, image, likeness’ (NIL) deal with NextName. NextName offers fans the opportunity to support her through the sale of her personal digital collectibles, also known as non-fungible tokens (NFT). The collectibles are robust media files with images, music, school logo, and playing statistics. Ritter directly receives the majority of proceeds from the sale of her digital collectibles.

Ritter is a U of I freshman from New Albany, OH and a graduate of New Albany High School where she was coached by her father Richard Ritter. In 2021 she was named to the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) Girls Golf Second-Team All-State as a senior. She was also a two-time OHSAA Girls Golf First-Team All-State (2019-20), two-time Ohio Girls Golfer of the Year presented by the Columbus Dispatch (2019-20), two-time Female Athlete of the Year presented by the Columbus Dispatch (2019-20), three-time First-Team All-Central District and First-Team All-Ohio Capital Conference (2019-21), the 2020 OHSAA Girls Golf Sectional Champion, two-time OHSAA Girls Golf Central District Champion (2019-20), and the 2019 OHSAA Division I Girls Golf State Champion
NextName is a platform designed to support college athletes and teams through the sale of digital collectibles. With just a few clicks, fans can purchase collectibles bearing the name, image, and likeness (NIL) of their favorites. In doing so, NextName provides fans an opportunity to help student-athletes maximize their personal band and share in the success of college athletics.
